25 people charred to death as bus catches fire on Samruddhi Mahamarg Expressway in Maharashtra

BULDHANA: Twenty-five people died after a bus they were travelling in from Maharashtra’s Yavatmal to Pune caught fire in Buldhana on the Samruddhi Mahamarg Expressway. The incident occurred around 2 am on Saturday.

“Twenty five bodies have been extracted from the bus. A total of 32 people were travelling in the bus. About 6-8 people are injured and they are being shifted to the Buldhana Civil Hospital”, Buldhana Police Deputy SP Baburao Mahamuni said.
