BALLARI: A 23-foot-tall statue of late actor Puneeth Rajkumar, which was designed in Shivamogga district, has now reached Ballari. It will be inaugurated in front of the district stadium in Nallacharavu area on the occasion of Ballari Utsav to be held on January 21. The statue is made from a mix of iron and fibre.
More than 15 artists were engaged in designing the structure and it took five months complete. This is the tallest Puneeth statue in India and has been built at a cost of Rs 20 lakh.
The Ballari district administration has made all preparations for the unveiling of the statue during the start of the Ballari Utsav.
