Two men planning to steal a bike were captured on a CCTV camera.

BENGALURU: Two thieves have been on the prowl, stealing two-wheelers from Bhattarahalli in KR Puram area. In the last one month, they have stolen two vehicles, and they mostly targeted bikes parked in front of houses.

In CCTV footage, the two men can be seen enter the area late in the night. One of them keeps a watch on the road, while the other breaks the handle lock, hotwires the engine and escape with the bike.

In a video clip, Koteshwar Rao, a resident of Bhattarahalli, can be heard saying, “On September 22, after midnight, a two-wheeler belonging to Sharath was stolen. He reported it to the KR Puram police station, and they informed him that they would register an FIR after investigation. A similar incident occurred a few months back wherein cell phones and a bike were stolen. We request the police to look into the matter immediately.”

The incident occurred in the KR Puram police station limits and the man who lost his bike reported it to the police, but to no avail.
