CHITRADURGA: Excise officials raided a house at Soojimalleshwara Layout in Challakere town on Tuesday and seized 13.6 kg of ganja stored in the house. The value of the seized ganja is said to be about Rs 6.8 lakh.
The ganja was stored in the house of one Mehboob of Talaku. The Excise officials conducted the search after obtaining permission from a court. The raid was supervised by Excise deputy commissioner Dr Madesh.
