GADAG: One person died on the spot while two other were seriously injured after a motorcycle and a car went up in flames after colliding near Byranahatti in Nargund taluk on Wednesday. The identity of the deceased, who hails from Hubballi, is yet to be established.
The Mahindra TUV 300 SUV was heading to Hubballi from Mudhol while the motorcycle rider was heading towards Devari from Hubballi. The occupants of the SUV were seriously injured in the collision and have been shifted to KIMS hospital in Hubballi.
The Fire and Emergency Services arrived at the spot and put out the fire. The Nargund police have registered a case.
