BENGALURU: A case has been registered against YouTuber MD Sameer at Dharmasthala police station for allegedly spreading false propaganda about the pilgrim town of Dharmasthala. During the preliminary investigation, several facts have come to light that Sameer planned to vacate Bannerghatta house.
Sameer asked his landlord’s permission to vacate the house within a week. It has also been revealed that Sameer, who initially resided in Koppa under Jigani police station limits, had been living in a rented house in Bannerghatta police station limits for the past four years.
When Sameer learned that the Dharmasthala police were after him, he handed over his phone SIM card to his cousin sister and absconded. The police investigation has revealed that Sameer’s cousin’s location was traced to Bengaluru, and the Dharmasthala police had visited Bengaluru to search for him, but returned empty-handed.
