Youth stabbed by married woman’s brother for talking to her despite warnings

BENGALURU: A youth, who was talking to a woman, despite knowing that she was married, was stabbed with a knife by her brother in Nayandahalli of Pantharapalya, under Byatarayanapura police limits. The injured is Kartik, an autodriver, He has been admitted to a hospital.

The woman’s husband Satish and her brother Vinod had warned Karthik several times, but he continued to speak to the woman. Around 11 pm on Tuesday, Vinod went to Pantharapalya along with Satish and his friend Surya, followed Kartik and attacked him with a knife. They fled the scene after attacking him.

Karthik was admitted to the hospital with injuries to his head and stomach, but is now out of danger. A case has been registered at the Byatarayanapura police station, and the police are on the lookout for the accused.
