BENGALURU: A youth set his bike on fire in front of Vidhana Soudha building on Wednesday as he was allegedly upset with the police. The bike owner, Prithviraj, is a resident of Challakere in Chitradurga district. The two-wheeler was charred in seconds.
Prithviraj had gone trekking a few days ago, but as he was unreachable, his mother filed a missing complaint at the Challakere police station. However, the police allegedly used abusive language against his mother after Prithviraj returned, which enraged him.
Angered by this, Prithviraj set ablaze his bike in front of Vidhana Soudha. The youth is currently in the custody of Vidhana Soudha police.
