MANDYA: A group of miscreants attacked a youth, wielding machetes, and livestreamed the whole incident on Facebook while abusing and threatening him all through. A video of the attack was widely shared on social media.
In the video, a youth can be seen being attacked repeatedly at a graveyard, hit with a machete and abused all the while even as the miscreants prance around him and threaten him. The youth can be seen pleading with the group to spare him and promising never to step into Mandya again.
The video has created a scare among the people of Mandya who are demanding that the police take strict action against such anti-social elements. The incident occurred under Mandya East police limits.
