BELAGAVI: A youth was found dead in a pool of blood at Marihala Government School in the district. He has been identified as Mahantesh Rudrappa Karalingannavar (24).
It was suspected that, he was murdered by some miscreants with a machete at night. The Marihala police visited the incident site and an investigation is under way.
Mahantesh Rudrappa’s brother Santosh said, “I got to know about the murder in the morning as someone informed me. He left the house around 7 pm yesterday. I have suspicions over the death. Somebody may have killed him over old rivalry or may be he died after fighting with some miscreants. To the best of my knowledge, he had no such rivalry with anyone. I am demanding the police department conduct a fair investigation into the case”.
