KALABURAGI: A young man was brutally murdered by smashing his head with a stone in front of a hotel at Rajapur Layout here late on Saturday night. The deceased has been identified as Revanasiddappa Palekar (33).
According to sources, Palekar had gone to smoke cigarettes with his friends when a fight broke out, ending up in the murder. It is suspected that his friends are involved in the murder and they are now absconding.
The entire incident has been captured on CCTV camera. A case has been registered at the University police station and further investigation is under way.
