BENGALURU: A 19-year-old youth has been arrested by the Ashok Nagar police for allegedly filming and clicking pictures of young women and uploading them on social media. The arrested was identified as Dilavar Hussain M D, a resident of Byrathi, Kothanur.
The accused allegedly filmed women in public places without their consent and shared sexually suggestive content on the Instagram handle ‘Dilbar Jaani-67’. Further investigation is underway, police said.
Hussain would caption the pictures and videos as ‘Bengaluru nightlife’ on social media. He would take the videos and photos on MG Road, Brigade Road and surrounding places in the central business district. The Ashok Nagar police registered a suo motu case and arrested the accused.
