BENGALURU: A youth was arrested by the police allegedly for murdering his former girlfriend’s current boyfriend, identified as Darshan, out of jealousy in Nelamangala.
The accused, Venugopal, discovered that the woman he had previously been in a relationship with had moved on with Darshan. Unable to bear the thought of her being with someone else, Venugopal reportedly killed Darshan. After committing the crime, Venugopal attempted to escape by boarding a train, but the police managed to track him down and arrest him in Mandya just five days after the murder.
The Nelamangala Rural police have taken Venugopal into custody and are currently questioning him. The police investigation revealed a complex love triangle that ultimately led to the tragic incident.
