Young woman alleges assault, molestation for throwing stones at dogs

BENGALURU: A young woman was allegedly harassed and assaulted by a man named Yatish on October 23 around 2.30 pm in NR Layout area of Ramamurthy Nagar police station limits, for throwing a stone at a dog.

According to the woman, dogs chased her when she was riding a two-wheeler. She stopped her vehicle and threw stones at the dogs to prevent them from attacking her.

The woman has alleged that Yatish pulled her, assaulted and molested her for throwing stones at the dogs. The woman has filed a complaint and undergone medical treatment.

An FIR has been registered at the Ramamurthy Nagar police station, but the woman alleges that there is no name of the accused and photo filed in the FIR, despite providing them. The police didn’t even question him, she claimed.

The woman has also tweeted to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Home Minister, and Bengaluru Police Commissioner seeking justice and demanded action.
