BENGALURU: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday said that as a minister, he presents a new India, the social change that is happening within, and the welfare programmes being undertaken, to the world.

Speaking to reporters, he said when he sees and experiences the development when he travels to different parts of the country, it is also a learning experience for him which he presents to others.

Jaishankar had lunch at the residence of former ZP member Srinivas.

The Union government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has two important messages — no compromise on issues of national security and social justice and economic progress are the central themes. “We are spreading this message across the country”, he noted.

Jaishankar was in Bengaluru on a private visit to Electronics City. He also had lunch at the residence of former zilla panchayat member and Dalit leader Srinivas at Hullahalli near Begur in Bengaluru South Assembly constituency.
