BENGALURU: A woman’s body was found wrapped in a cloth inside an autorickshaw which was parked on the main road in Tilak Nagar area. The victim Salma (35), was a mother of four children and had been in a relationship with one Subramani, who is believed to have killed her.
The police investigation revealed that Salma’s husband had passed away a few months ago and she had started a relationship with Subramani, who lives in the same area. A quarrel broke out between them on Saturday night and Subramani allegedly hit Salma on the head, killing her. After that he wrapped the body in cloth and left it in an autorickshaw, which was parked on the main road.
The locals noticed the body inside the autorickshaw and informed the police, who visited the place and took the body to Victoria Hospital for post-mortem examination. Subramani is absconding and the police are on the lookout for him.
