BENGALURU: Music is not for everyone, and even those who learn it, know how much dedication is required master it. Some singers set out to achieve something different in their field.

Likewise, Anusha from Karnataka has made it to the India Book of Records with her unique talent. Her parents enrolled her in music classes when she was young, and she learned music like others. However, Anusha wanted to stand out from the crowd and experimented with her singing.

Her experiment paid off, and she achieved a remarkable feat. Anusha can easily listen to a song once and then sing it backwards, maintaining the same melody and lyrics.

Anusha said about her reverse singing, “I learned classical singing, and the craze of reverse singing started in third standard. I just wanted to do something unique in my field. Once I catch the lyrics of the whole song, I can sing the lyrics in reverse. I have participated in several concerts. I had a dream and desire to add it in a record, and my family supported me a lot. I got recognition from India Book of record as ‘IBR achiever’ for singing 29 Kannada songs backwards. Initially, I started in Kannada, and later I sang songs in other languages, including Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu, and released them on social media”.
