KALABURAGI: It is quite common at railway stations for mishaps to take place while boarding trains. While accidents sometimes happen due to the carelessness of individuals, at other times, it could be due to the rush to catch a train.
In a freak accident, a 50-year-old woman passenger was rescued by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and labourers from falling on the railway tracks while trying to board a moving train at the Kalaburagi railway station on Sunday evening.
The train arrived from Mumbai and was moving towards Nagercoil when the woman tried to board the train, but lost balance and was about to fall to the railway track. Alerted by this, RPF personnel, labourers, and others in the station immediately rescued her. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras at the railway station.
