RAMANAGARA: A woman, who had gone to a resort to spend a holiday with colleagues, lost her life in an adventure sport after a cable snapped. The incident took place at Jungle Trail Resort in Bettahalli village in Harohalli taluk.
Ranjini (35), originally from Attibele, had gone to the resort to spend a holiday with her colleagues. After breakfast, she went to try out the zipline on the resort premises when she lost his life. Ranjini died on the spot after the zipline cable snapped and she fell down.
It is alleged that the woman lost her life due to the negligence of the resort staff. Harohalli police visited the place and conducted an investigation. The body was handed over to the family members after a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered at the Harohalli police station in this regard.
