BENGALURU: A married woman with two children, who left her family to be with her old boyfriend, now finds herself with nowhere to go. She dumped her husband and children trusting her boyfriend and was living with him for the past one-and-half years, but got cheated. Now she has neither her husband nor hher boyfriend and is seeking justice. Moreover, she is homeless and worried about her future.
The woman, who was in a relationship with her old boyfriend Ravi, left her husband and kids believing that he would marry her. They even secretly started a family in a rented house in MS Palya near Vidyaranyapura. Everything was going well in the beginning.
But now, Ravi is preparing to get married to another woman on the insistence of his parents, sister and brother-in-law. The woman came to know about his engagement and had talked to Ravi and his family.
The woman even told Ravi’s family that he had got her pregnant a few time and that even now, she is pregnant while he getting into another marriage. She approached the Vidyaranyapura police station and lodged a complaint and has also approached the State Women’s Commission seeking justice.
The woman alleged that her boyfriend misused her sexually after promising to marry her. She said she had trusted Ravi and started living with him after abandoning her husband and children, but her boyfriend cheated her and is refusing to marry her.
The woman said in her complaint that she is pregnant and that Ravi is forcing her to abort when she asked him to marry her. She also claimed that he assaults her every day and threatens her of life. The Vidyaranyapura police have taken up further investigation.
