SHIVAMOGGA: A woman who was walking along the road in front of her house was knocked down by a tipper. She later succumbed to her injuries.
The incident occurred at Andasura village in Sagar taluk and the victim was identified as Shilpa (35). The driver of the tipper escaped soon after the incident.
Villagers complained that many tippers carrying jelly stones pass through the village and demanded action against the tipper driver involved in the accident. The Anandapura police have registered a case.
