BENGALURU: A woman allegedly killed her two children before hanging herself at their house in Bhuvaneshwari Nagar near Bagalagunte in the city over an alleged domestic dispute. The exact cause of death is still unclear.
The deceased have been identified as Vijayalakshmi, Bhuvan (1) and Vrinda (4). The incident came to light when Vijayalakshmi’s sister visited her home on Thursday night. The police suspect that Vijayalakshmi’s death was a result of family disputes.
According to relatives, Vijayalakshmi’s husband, Ramesh, was threatening his to divorce her and was allegedly abusive, which may have led to the tragic incident. Ramesh, who works at a mall, had reportedly married another woman, causing frequent quarrels in the family.
The bodies have been sent to Victoria Hospital for post-mortem examination. The Bagalagunte police are investigating the matter.
