BENGALURU: A woman killed her family members, including her husband and her two children, by strangling them and then attempted suicide in Ganakanahalli village due to debt burden.
The deceased have been identified as husband Shiv (32) and their two children, Chandrakala (11) and Uday Surya (7).
The accused, Manjula, who tried to take her own life after killing her family members survived and is undergoing treatment at the Hosakote Government Hospital.
According to reports, the family had taken loans for the father’s medical treatment after an accident, leading to the desperate decision. Further investigation is under way.
