CHIKKABALLAPUR: An aged woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident near the Kodigehalli flyover in Doddaballapur on Sunday night. The identity of the deceased was not immediately known.
On receiving information about the woman’s body lying on the road, the Doddaballapur rushed to the spot and shifted it to the government hospital mortuary. The police have registered a case and taken up further investigation. Efforts were also on to establish the victim’s identity.
