BELAGAVI: A young woman, who was riding a scooter, had a providential escape after a truck coming behind her braked just in time when she fell off her vehicle. The spine-chilling accident has been caught on CCTV camera.
The unidentified woman was on her two-wheeler on Ganeshpura Road out the outskirts of Belagavi. Just after she passed a moving truck, she spotted a stray dog on the road and braked, but lost control and fell. The truck coming behind her halted barely inches away from her, thanks to the driver’s presence of mind.
Other two-wheeler riders immediately shifted the badly shaken woman safely to the footpath. The incident occurred in Belagavi South traffic police limits on Thursday.
