KARWAR: A woman doctor is winning hearts on social media after celebrating Holi with her mother who is admitted in the intensive care unit (ICU) by applying colour and singing a song to her.
Pathologist Dr Suman Dinesh Hedge’s mother is undergoing treatment at the Mahalakshmi Nursing Home in Sirsi. As per her mother’s wish, she and her father celebrated Holi in the ICU ward with her ailing mother.
In the video, which has gone viral, Dr Suman can be seen holding her mother’s hand and singing, “Aa chal ke tujhe main leke chalu ek aise gagan ke tale…” even as one can hear the ventilator beep in the background. The daughter’s act brought a smile on the ailing mother’s face and the internet has lauded her for the act.
