BENGALURU: A woman, who claimed to have been cheated by her boyfriend, climbed the terrace of his house in Hegganahalli with a knife in her hand and threatened to commit suicide, on Monday afternoon.
The unidentifed woman was said to be in a relationship with local BJP leader Sundaresh for the last 4-5 year. On Monday, when she climbed the terrace of his house, Sundaresh was not at home. The woman insisted that he should be called home and threatened to end her life.
The woman claimed that Sundaresh had promised to marry her and had cheated her. The Rajgopalnagar police, who arrived on the scene, finally managed to convince the woman to get off the terrace of Sundaresh’s house and took her to the police station.
