BENGALURU: A young woman has claimed that she had an unpleasant experience with a BMTC bus driver and conductor. She said had left her phone on the bus and returned to retrieve it, but the duo allegedly demanded a bribe.
The incident occurred near Spice Garden around 10 am on Tuesday morning. The driver and conductor reportedly asked for Rs 1,000 to return the phone and took Rs 500 cash and Rs 500 via online transfer. She also attached a screenshot of the online transfer in her post.
