BIDAR: A woman and her child died on the spot after their motorcycle collided head-on with a Toyota Innova MUV on National Highway 65 on Thursday night. Her husband sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to a hospital.
The deceased were identified as Sufia Razak (32) and her six-year-old child. The accident occurred when they were on their way to Umarga in Maharashtra from their native village Devanala in Basavakalyan taluk.
The Basavakalyan Rural police visited the spot and have registered a case.
