BELAGAVI: A woman has been accused of murdering her four-year-old stepdaughter in Kangrali KH village, which is near Belagavi city. The deceased has been identified as Samriddhi Rayanna Navi (4).
The child suddenly became lifeless while playing at home around 7 am on Monday. She succumbed on the way to BIMS Hospital for treatment. On getting the information of the child’s condition, the grandparents rushed her to a hospital.
The grandparents of Samriddhi have accused stepmother Sapna Rayanna of being responsible for the child’s death. The grandfather Sunila Hampanna has made a serious allegations that the girl’s stepmother Sapna murdered his 4-year-old granddaughter.
The deceased child’s father, Rayanna Navi, is working as a CRPF soldier in Chhattisgarh. The incident took place under the Belgaum APMC police station.
