BENGALURU : After the FIR was registered against HD Revanna, in his first reaction said he asked, “What is the point in filing a complaint by opening a 4 to 5-year-old story? This is all a conspiracy; I don’t run away anywhere afraid of it. I will face a legal fight. I will not respond regarding the complaint lodged against me. The government formed SIT, let it investigate”.
“Prajwal Revanna’s foreign tour was pre-decided. I did not know that an FIR would be filed. If they call for an investigation, he will also come. The conspiracy against the Deve Gowda family is not new. We have faced many such investigations. The COD investigated on Deve Gowda. I did not discuss this matter with him. Let it happen according to the law”, said Revanna.
A FIR has been filed against JD (S) leader HD Revanna (A1) and son Prajwal Revanna (A2) in connection with the case at the Holenarasipur Nagar police station.
The case has been registered under sections 354A, 354D, 506, and 509 of the IPC on charges of sexual harassment, intimidation, and outraging the dignity of a woman.
As per the complaint registered by ex-house help, the victim has claimed that both HD Revanna and Prajwal Revanna sexually assaulted her. The complainant further claimed that when Revanna’s wife was not home, he touched her inappropriately and used to sexually assault her.
