CHAMARAJANAGAR: A group of visitors to Bandipur were lucky enough to spot a tigress with her four cubs while on a safari on Sunday. The tigress and her cubs have been spotted on and off by tourists during safari rides.

Meanwhile, a spotted deer, which had strayed into the Gundlupet town municipal corporation office premises was rescued by locals on Monday.

The deer was being attacked by a pack of 3-4 dogs when locals spotted it and chased away the dogs. They gave the deer water and later handed it over to the Forest Department officials. After it had recuperated, the deer was released in the wild.
