BENGALURU:Senior journalist H R Ranganath has filed a complaint at the Yeshwantpur cyber crime police station after a social media post which claimed that some journalists had accumulated illegal properties went viral on social media.
A letter, purportedly written by ‘Hakki Goodu’ editor Narendra Toodalli, which claims that some journalists had amassed illegal properties, and claims that a complaint has been lodged with the Lokayukta, without any proof, has gone viral on WhatsApp and other social media.
In the light of this, a complaint has been lodged questioning who has written the letter, who made the post viral in WhatsApp groups and seeking action against those responsible for the defamatory post.
The Yeshwantpur cyber crime police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the culprits.
