Vijayapura police arrest two, recover stolen items worth Rs 9 Lakh

VIJAYAPURA: The Vijayapura police olice have arrested two thieves and recovered stolen items from houses valued at over Rs 9 lakh. The thieves have been identified as Sameer Inamdar and Moshina Kaladagi.

The arrests were made in two separate incidents. Police caught one of the thieves thief while he was breaking into a house near Sindagi Naka, during night patrol. The other was caught while stealing motorcycles.

The police seized stolen items worth Rs 7,59,600 , including 100 grams of gold and 120 grams of silver, which were recovered. Four motorcycles from various companies, valued at Rs 2,20,000, were seized from the thief.

Cases have been registered at Gol Gumbaz and Vijayapura Rural police stations. The Superintendent of Police has praised the police team for their efforts.
