BENAGLURU: Former Karnataka Chief Minister and senior politician S M Krishna (92) passed away today at 3.30 am.
Krishna’s health had deteriorated around 2 am on Tuesday, and his family had informed the doctors about his breathing problems, who immediately rushed to his residence. The doctors declared Krishna dead at 3.30 am.

Krishna’s mortal remains will be kept at his Sadashivanagar residence for public viewing throughout the day. Arrangements have been made for people to pay their last respects today.

Pandals and chairs have been arranged near the residence. The body will be shifted to his hometown Maddur and his last rites will be performed there at 1 pm on Wednesday. The police have tightened security around Krishna’s residence, with barricades being set up on roads around the residence.
