BENGALURU: Veteran Kannada director S K Bhagavan was admitted to the Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research on Monday as he is suffering from age-related illness.
Bhagavan is recognised as an actor, director, and producer in the Kannada film industry. Two days ago, he was suffering from a cold and developed trouble in breathing. Doctors treating him were worried, considering his age, and advised him to get admitted to a hospital.
In 1966, Bhagavan entered the film industry as an assistant director with the movie ‘Sandhya Raaga’. Later, he directed many films along with Dorairaj and the duo became famous as Dorai-Bhagavan.
