BENGALURU: Veteran journalist, author and columnist T J S George, passed away in Bengaluru on Friday evening. He was 96. George had undergone a surgery and was in hospital for a week, but passed away after showing signs of recovery, sources close to him noted.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah condoled the senior journalist’s passing away. In a post on X, the CM noted,”Saddened by the passing of veteran journalist, editor & author T J S George. With his sharp pen and uncompromising voice, he enriched Indian journalism for over six decades”.
