Veteran journalist K Satyanarayana passes away due to age-related illness

BENGALURU: Veteran journalist K Satyanarayana (82) passed away at his house at LIC Colony in Jayanagar from age-related illness on Sunday morning.

K Satyanarayan started working as a journalist for the ‘Tayinadu’ newspaper, and served more than three decades as the editor of ‘Kannada Prabha’ daily.

He worked with reputed news organisations, including the Indian Express and gained a lot of attention and popularity with his popular columns ‘Nagarapradakshine’ and ‘Vyakthi Vichara’ in Kannada Prabha. He used to write in Kannada as well as in English in a simple style. He was an expert in finance, business and budget reporting.

All arrangements have been made for the last rites at his residence. He is survived by his wife Venkamma and daughter Apoorva.
