BENGALURU: Following the gruesome murder of woman Vyalikaval, her family has expressed suspicion against four individuals, including Ashraf.

The deceased woman’s family members have named Ashraf, Mukta, Shashidhar, and Sunil as suspects in the murder case.

Mukta, Shashidhar, and Sunil were colleagues of Mahalakshmi. She had quarreled with them at her workplace. Ashraf, who is from Uttarakhand, had a close-relationship with Mahalakshmi and worked at a salon. Mahalakshmi’s family now suspects these four individuals.

Hemant Das, husband of Mahalakshmi, said, “I and Mahalakshmi were married for six years. I own a mobile shop. We separated nine months ago. Recently, her house owner called me, saying there was a foul smell coming out of the house. When I arrived, I found her chopped body pieces and stored them in the fridge.”

He further said, “I suspect Ashraf, and I have filed a complaint against him in Nelamangala police station two years ago. Mahalakshmi had a friendship with him. I was aware of their relationship. I warned her too. I don’t know much about Ashraf now. “

The husband also mentioned that they have a daughter who is currently living with him. Mahalakshmi would visit my mobile shop once a month to see our daughter. She last visited 25 days ago, before her murder.

The deceased Mahalakshmi’s sister said they did not get in touch with her for one year. But I didn’t expect to see her in such a way. The accused should get punishment,”  her family demanded.
