BENGALURU: There has been an uptick in coronavirus in the city yet again and the spread of the virus during the election season has become a cause for concern.The number of people being admitted to hospitals with infection is also increasing.
On Monday, 308 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in a single day in Bengaluru. This is the second-highest positive count recorded this year. On April 13, 328 cases were reported.
The positivity rate has touched 5.88 per cent on Thursday and as of Monday, there are 40 patients with Covid-19 admitted to hospitals for treatment.
