BENGALURU: An unidentified group of people threatened, assaulted the hotel staff and vandalised the SLV Bhavan on Avenue Road on Sunday night.
Around midnight, a group of 30 people came wearing masks and monkey caps to SLV Bhavan. They threatened and assaulted seven hotel staffers and snatched their mobile phones. The hotel is run by Ganesh and his three partners.
The reason for the act is said to be a fight over ownership of the place. It is estimated that the loss due to the vandalism is over Rs 10 lakh. A case has been registered at the Halasuru police station.
