CHITRADURGA: Election officials, along with the police, have seized 5.25 kg of gold worth Rs 3.55 crore in Hiriyur, for which there were no supporting documents. It is said that the gold belongs to Vardhaman Jewellers of Davanagere.
Tahsildar Rajesh and the police conducted raids in Hiriyur town based on specific information and seized the gold. A case has been registered at the Hiriyur Town police station.
