The severed head of a cow was found at Kunjalu in Brahmavar taluk a few days ago and the police had arrested a few Hindu men in connection with the incident. However, Sharan Pumpwell had expressed doubts that the Muslim community may be involved in the incident.
The police have booked Sharan Pumpwell for making unsubstantiated claims even before the completion of the investigation and for alleged attempts to disturb public peace.
