Uber teases ‘Titanic’ after flooding in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: Life in Bengaluru has been disrupted due to heavy rainfall over the past two days, causing drains to flow on to the city’s roads. Uber has poked fun at Bengaluru’s situation by posting a photo of the Titanic shipon its Instagram account, suggesting that Bengaluru has a ‘Titanic boat service’.

The post, which appeared on Uber’s service list, teased that the Titanic ship service would be available within a minute. The post pokes fun at the city’s current situation, where roads are flooded due to heavy rains.

The post, which features a photo of a boat in the background and the Titanic ship logo, humorously suggests that instead of cars, Uber would provide boat services in Bengaluru.

Uber claimed that the Titanic boat service will be available within a minute for just Rs 149. The post has gone viral on social media, making light of the city’s current situation where many areas are flooded and vehicles are struggling to navigate through waterlogged roads.

The heavy rainfall over the past two days has caused widespread flooding in many parts of Bengaluru, with some roads becoming unpassable due to waterlogging.
