CHITRADURGA: Two youths, who were cleaning sheep, died after drowning in a check dam from G R Halli village in Chitradurga taluk on Wednesday evening. The deceased were identified as Vishwanath (23) and Maruti (19) of G R Halli village.
Both didn’t know how to swim, leading to the tragic accident. The incident has left the families of the victims devastated, with widespread grief in the community. The Chitradurga Rural police visited the spot and have registered a case. Further investigation is under way.
