VIJAYAPURA: Two women walking along a road were seriously injured after a speeding car hit them from behind, tossing them in the air, at Devarahipparagi on Friday night. The incident occurred close to 9 pm and was captured on a CCTV camera.
In the video, the two women can be seen walking on the road when a speeding car rams into them from behind. While one of the women was flung some distance away, the other woman was tossed in the air and fell on a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction.
Locals immediately rushed to the rescue of the women who were later shifted to hospital. The car driver fled without stopping and the Devarahipparagi police are on the lookout for him after registering a case.
