BENGALURU: Three people, including two women, have been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and assaulting a salon owner in Amruthahalli police limits on Thursday night. The arrested are Smitha a.k.a Nisha, Kavya and Mohammed.
The women entered Royal Choice Salon and Spa on Bhuvaneshwari Nagar main road and attacked Belliappa, leaving him injured on the head and other parts of the body. The women were joined by two other youths who aslo attacked Belliappa. The entire assault was captured on CCTV camera.
In her complaint with the police, Belliappa’s wife Sanju P B said that he was earlier working as a manager at a salon and spa run by Smitha, but after she shut the business, he, along with a friend, had opened his own spa.
“Angered by this, Smitha, Kavya, Mohammed and two other unidentified people assaulted him, took him in a car, abused and threatened him of life and again attacked him with beer bottles. The assault went on for about one-and-half hours”, Sanju said in her complaint.
