BENGALURU: A bike rider with a pillion rider narrowly escaped death after getting caught between two BMTC buses near Kammanahalli in Bengaluru around 3 pm on Friday.
The bike rider miraculously escaped, and the pillion rider fell to the road and suffered minor injuries. Both were not wearing helmets.
A BMTC bus was slowing down and the bike rider attempted to overtake it from the right side at high speed. At the same time, another BMTC bus was approaching from the opposite direction.
The bike rider lost control after brushing against the buses and got stuck between them. Then he somehow managed to wriggle out as the buses also stopped for a while. The bike rider and the pillion rider suffered serious injuries in the accident.
The incident was captured on the dashcam of a car that was ahead of one of the buses.
