BENGALURU: A gutsy two-wheeler rider chased away two robbers who came to attack him near Police Thimmaiah statue on Dr B R Ambedkar Veedhi early on Friday morning.
Sunil, a flower trader, was on his way from Banaswadi to KR Market when the two robbers started following him. The duo suddenly blocked him, took away his scooter key and attempted to rob him.
Sunil, however, struck back with his helmet and the robbers fell on the ground. When he tried to catch them, they flashed a knife and fled. The Vidhana Soudha police visited the spot and have registered a case.
