CHAMARAJANAGAR: A pair of tigers were spotted near Kodasoge village in Gundlupet taluk early on Wednesday morning, creating panic among the villagers.

The tigers were spotted near a maize field.

The tigers had hunted a pig inside a maize field and as soon as villagers started to gather, the big cats started running around here and there. The movement of the tigers were also caught on mobile phones.

Forest Department staff and police officials along with the villagers where the tigers were spotted.

The villagers immediately informed the Forest Department who arrived there along with the police. The villagers have demanded that the tigers be trapped and the authorities were figuring out ways to capture the tigers and release them in the forest. Further details are awaited.
